"Dinosaurs" was possibly the most fun class I have ever taken. While I went into it just hoping to fulfill some of my natural science required credits, I feel that this class was incredibly interesting and fulfilling for me. I think I had an overall bad experience with science in high school as I was never really good at it and missed out on many lab sciences because of the COVID-19 pandemic. "Dinosaurs" felt very healing to me as it gave me the ability to learn about biology and history alongside one another which made science, a historically difficult subject, engaging. In fact, this course made me realize that I may want to take other Paleobiology courses over my time at UW if I can which is both a refreshing and unexpected realization.
