Psych 101

In this course, I learned about the fundamentals of psychology and neurology. While I was initially drawn to the class because of my mental health struggles and personal relationships with several psychology majors, I ended up getting something entirely different out of the class. This class ended up being much more intensively STEM-centric than I had originally anticipated. As someone who had not taken any psychology courses previous to this one, I did not know what to expect in terms of workload or the amount of memorization this class would require. While it did end up being much more challenging than I expected, I am really glad to have taken this class so early on in my college experience as it taught me a lot about my own study and learning habits. I think that more than anything, this course taught me how to most effectively be a student in a collegiate environment.
